Aston House - Senior

Aston House Senior School is a small and friendly preparatory school for boys and girls aged 7 - 11 years.

With just four classes within the Senior School, a warm and intimate atmosphere can always be found.

The school provides a unique balance between traditional class sizes, care and attention, whilst embracing modern day IT and teaching methods. This creates an environment in which each child can flourish both personally and educationally and can then progress to their choice of Secondary school.

The school curriculum takes into account the national curriculum and is taught through a combination of traditional and Montessori-based educational programmes.

Welcome from the Head Teacher

Paula Seabrook is the Head Teacher of Aston House Senior School (and Aston House Junior School). Paula has many years experience in education having worked at a senior level for many years.

Paula places great importance in maintaining a close relationship with the children in the School’s care and to this end Paula strives to combine the administration side of her Head Teacher position with day to day contact with all pupils. Paula is a teaching Head taking classes in French and English at Senior School.

Aston House is very much a family school where the children know and value each other. Paula is assisted by an excellent, supportive staff who collaborate well, ensuring the children receive the warmth and nurture necessary for long term success. From the youngest in the nursery to the oldest 11+ candidates, the pupils are encouraged to achieve their maximum potential.

Aston House Senior’s oldest children are proof of the School’s commitment for success, going on to major public schools with confidence in their own ability.
