Aston House Junior School is a small and friendly preparatory school for boys and girls aged 4 - 7 years. With just three classes within the Junior School, a warm and intimate atmosphere can always be found.
The school provides a unique balance between traditional class sizes, care and attention, whilst embracing modern day IT and teaching methods. This creates an environment in which each child can flourish both personally and educationally and can then progress to Aston Senior School.
The school curriculum takes into account the national curriculum and is taught through a combination of traditional and Montessori-based educational programmes.
Our nursery provides a warm, friendly and happy environment for children aged 2 and above.

Paula Seabrook is the Head Teacher of Aston House Junior School (and Aston House Senior School). Paula has many years experience in education having worked at a senior level for many years.
Paula places great importance in maintaining a close relationship with the children in the School’s care and to this end Paula strives to combine the administration side of her Head Teacher position with day to day contact with all pupils. Paula is a teaching Head taking classes in French and English at Senior School with her main base at the Junior School. Paula is involved with the children on a daily basis. By holding Good Work Assemblies every week when the School celebrates pupils achievements, Paula is ably “assisted” by the younger children in her story telling - displaying excellent acting potential!
Aston House is very much a family school where the children know and value each other. Paula has an excellent team of teaching and support staff who ensure all children receive the warmth and nurture necessary for long term success. From the youngest in the nursery to the oldest 11+ candidates the pupils are encouraged to achieve their maximum potential.
