The ICT Suite

In addition to computers in the classrooms, the school houses an ICT suite together with an interactive white board. It is expected that all pupils will experience ICT regularly in the ICT suite and in their classrooms. Good computer skills will be acquired through the use of ICT as our pupils progress through the structured scheme of work.

All computers are fully networked so that pupils have access to their files when they are working in the ICT suite.

All pupils have a dedicated Information and Communication Technology lesson per week in the ICT suite. The emphasis is on building basic skills and confidence. Learning to touch-type, researching under guidance on the World Wide Web or creating a picture with new, carefully selected software, spread sheets, data handling and control are just a few of the many skills taught. ICT aims to be exciting, suitably challenging and rewarding for all.
