Independent Schools Association

Visits to Museums, art galleries and other places of interest are arranged for each class. These visits are linked to the curriculum and the topics being studied that term. In addition we have occasional visits from outside speakers and theatre groups.
The younger pupils always travel to these venues in coaches fitted with seat belts and with CRB checked drivers. Older pupils may make use of the train and tube facilities particularly when travelling into central London.
Pupils in Years 4, 5 and 6 have the opportunity to join a residential multi-activity trip in the Summer term

As part of the History Curriculum, Year 6 took part in a Victorian School Day workshop

Buxlow hosted a “Coffee on the Go Event” for parents. Staff baked muffins and sold fresh coffee. Altogether £275 was raised for MacMillans Charity.
