Uniform

Much of our school uniform is available exclusively from Harrow School Outfitters in Harrow-on-the-Hill who are the official suppliers of the Buxlow school uniform. Items may also be ordered online from their website.

The summer uniform is usually worn from the first day of the Summer Term until the October half-term, depending on the weather. Thereafter the winter uniform is worn.

Every pupil must arrive at school in the morning and leave at the end of the day wearing school uniform.

The uniform list is available from the school office.

Ordering from Harrow School Outfitters

It is advisable to plan uniform requirements ahead, especially major items such as coats, blazers and tunics.

We are proud of our uniform and parents are expected to keep the uniform in good repair and to replace any outgrown or damaged items. Parents with children already at the school who need to replace garments should therefore allow 6 to 8 weeks for delivery of a major item. This makes it inadvisable to wait until the October half term break before ordering a new winter coat.

Families new to the school will have the uniform requirements explained to them at an orientation meeting held at the school in June before their child is due to start at school.

Labelling

Everything must be clearly labelled with labels bearing your child’s name. Items unsuitable for a woven label such as shoes may have the name written in indelible ink.

Lost Property

There is a Lost Property box situated at the front entrance. However, it is best to report any missing items to the Class teacher as soon as possible after their loss to assist you in your search. All items left in the lost property basket at the end of the year are put on the second hand uniform rail.
