St Nicholas School

St Nicholas School is a small, friendly preparatory school for boys and girls aged 3 to 11. Established over seventy years ago, St. Nicholas has a unique and charming atmosphere, seldom found in schools today. The school buildings consist of a large converted detached house, extended to accommodate the classrooms.The well-equipped playground and lawned area provide ample space for outdoor learning and play.

The school provides a caring, nurturing environment in which children can develop their self-confidence, enthusiasm and achieve academic success. Small class sizes and a warm and homely setting help to create a wonderful environment in which children reach their full potential.

St Nicholas School was established in 1937 and has a strong family atmosphere. Many families have long established links with the school. Our children feel safe and nurtured by the dedicated and professional staff. This environment leads to happy children working successfully to reach their full potential. Children work towards their 11+ examinations and are well prepared for the next phase of their education.
