St Nicholas' School is a small and friendly preparatory school for children aged 3 to 11. Established over seventy years ago, St Nicholas' has a unique and charming atmosphere, seldom found in schools today. The school provides a caring, nurturing environment in which children can develop their self-confidence, enthusiasm and achieve academic success.
A wide mix in age groups, small class sizes and a warm and homely setting, all help to create a wonderful environment in which children reach their fullest educational potential.
My name is Alyce Gregory, I became Headmistress at St Nicholas’ just over ten years ago. Prior to this I was Head of the Infant Department at a preparatory school in Ealing for over ten years.
Since joining St Nicholas’ as Headmistress, I have taught Mathematics and Science to Years 4 to 6 and have prepared Year 6 pupils for competitive entry into a number of prestigious senior schools, with great success. In addition, over the years I have overseen the development and expansion of the premises.
My future aim is to maintain the high standard of education at St Nicholas’ and to continue to provide a warm and caring family atmosphere within the School. This will be achieved through the continuing support of a dedicated and caring team of teachers and assistants, many of whom have taught at St Nicholas’ for a number of years.
